These Terms & Conditions govern your relationship with WashXpress Ltd. and all orders you may make. Please read them carefully as they may affect your rights and liabilities. If you do not agree to these Terms & Conditions, please do not order from WashXpress Ltd.

1. The WashXpress Ltd. Website is provided to you free of charge for your personal use, subject to these Terms and Conditions. By using WashXpress Ltd’s website and services you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

2. The WashXpress Website is owned and operated by WashXpress Ltd. a company registered in England whose registered office is at Unit 10, St Georges Tower, Hatley St George, Sandy, Bedfordshire, SG19 3SH. Company registration number 08748585.

3. These Terms and Conditions do not affect your statutory rights.

4. Service Use

4.1. Your submission of an order amounts to an offer to enter a contract to use our service; you cannot then withdraw or cancel your order except as stated below.

4.2. WashXpress Ltd. will endeavour to warn you of any changes to our prices. However, we reserve the right to change our prices without notice. Current prices will always be shown in the price list section of our website and can be obtained by telephoning WashXpress Ltd.

4.3. WashXpress Ltd. reserves the right to refuse, amend, extend or cancel any special offer at any time.

4.4. Ordering our service carries with it the obligation to pay for it unless we receive from you a cancellation of your order 24 hours before the collection time. We reserve the right to charge in full for any order unless we have received notice of cancellation before the 24 hour deadline. Any payments you have made for orders which have been properly cancelled will be re-credited to you.

5. Collection/Delivery

5.1. Collection and delivery is only guaranteed to be free for orders of more than £20. WashXpress Ltd. reserves the right to charge a reasonable delivery and collection fee on all orders under £20.

5.2. You are responsible for making suitable arrangements to arrange your collection and receive your delivery and giving us appropriate instructions. In the event that your delivery is damaged or lost after being handed over to yourself or delegated person, we do not accept liability. We reserve the right to refuse to accept orders from any customers.

5.3. We endeavor to keep your delivery time to within the time slot agreed, but we reserve the right to change it and will tell you if we do so within a reasonable time.

5.4. If we are unable to deliver to you within the time slot agreed, or have to deliver late, for reasons beyond our control, for example adverse weather conditions, vehicle breakdown, traffic congestion or supplier failure, we cannot accept liability for any inconvenience or loss this causes. We will not charge for goods unless or until we have delivered them to you.

6. Quality Policy

6.1. Every possible care will be taken when washing and ironing garments. However, it is the client’s responsibility to separate the washing, and to highlight specific cleaning or ironing instructions for the care of the garments. No responsibility will be accepted for any shrinkage to garments, or damage caused by the clients failure to sort the garments correctly, or failure to inform us of any specific or special cleaning instructions.

6.2. Lost or damaged items – It is the customers responsibility to check their order on receipt back and inform WashXpress Ltd within 48 hours if any items have been damaged or are missing. WashXpress Ltd will not accept any responsibility for any claims for damaged or missing items after 48 hours of the delivery.

6.3. Quality Issues – It is the customers responsibility to check their order on receipt back and inform WashXpress Ltd within 48 hours if any items have not been cleaned/ironed to the customers satisfaction. WashXpress Ltd will only offer discounts or refunds for quality issues if WashXpress Ltd has been given the opportunity to view the issues first and then if rectification of the issues have failed.

6.4. Drying – All laundered items are dried in tumble dryers as standard. It is the clients responsibility to inform WashXpress Ltd if their order contains any items not suitable for tumble drying. Any such items should be placed in a separate bag and labelled accordingly. WashXpress Ltd will not accept responsability for any shrinkage or damage caused by the tumble drying of garments when the customer has not followed the procedure outlined above.

6.5. All garments will always be cleaned as per the care label instructions. WashXpress Ltd. will not deviate from the care label instructions without the specific request and consent of the client. In the event that a garment has no care label WashXpress Ltd. will not accept any responsibility for damage caused by the chosen method of cleaning.

6.6. It is the client’s responsibility to remove any items from the garments which may cause damage. WashXpress Ltd. will not accept liability for damage caused by the clients failure to remove any items from the garments which may cause damage.

6.7. It is the client’s responsibility to remove any removable/loose items from garments such as shirt collar bones, cufflinks, brooches, belts or any other accessories. WashXpress Ltd will not accept responsibility or provide compensation for the loss or damage to any items that the client has failed to remove before sending.

6.8. Curtain Cleaning – It is the clients responsibility to remove all hooks, drapes or any other loose/removable items from the curtains before sending to WashXpress Ltd for cleaning. The client must also accept that all methods of curtain cleaning may cause some shrinkage of up to 10%, and that this is unavoidable. WashXpress Ltd will not accept responsibility for shrinkage within these parameters.

6.9. Curtain Black Out Lining – Some black out linings fitted in curtains contain a rubberised backing that does not withstand the dry cleaning process, particularly if they have been exposed to sunlight for several years. The dry cleaning process may cause this rubberised backing to break down. WashXpress Ltd. will not accept responsibility for any damage caused to black out linings by the dry cleaning process. Curtains lined with black out linings are processed entirely at owners risk.

6.10. Stain/Odour removal – Every effort will be made to remove stains and odours from garments, however WashXpress Ltd cannot guarantee to remove all stains and odours. WashXpress Ltd. will not accept any responsibility for the failure to remove stains and/or odours. In the event of a stain or odour not being removed from a garment, full payment for the service provided will still need to be made.

6.11. Leather items, buttons, buckles beading and any other type of decoration is processed entirely at owners risk. WashXpress Ltd. will not accept any responsibility for the damage of any such item.

7. Payment Terms

7.1. Any issues regarding an invoice must be raised within 3 working days.

7.2. Where credit is granted, unless otherwise agreed in writing, all sums payable must be paid without deductions within 7 days of the invoice date.

7.3. WashXpress Ltd. reserves the right to use legal proceedings and/or debt recovery agencies to recover unpaid debts that exceed the payment terms. The customer shall be liable for any such legal fees and/or debt recovery fees. These fees will be added to the amount owed.

7.4. Failure to pay by the due date shall entitle the Company to suspend delivery of all unexecuted or future orders.

7.5. WashXpress Ltd. reserves the right at any time in its absolute discretion to demand immediate payment of any account whether due or not and to take legal action to recover the debt and costs.

7.6. If payment is not made in accordance with this Condition, the Company reserves the right to charge Statutory Interest on the overdue balances for the period from the date on which payment became due until the date on which payment is made including any period after the date of any judgement or decree against the Customer. In addition each overdue invoice will attract a late payment compensation fee.

7.7. The Company reserves the right in its absolute discretion to refuse to grant credit.
